Chapelton - Chapelton of Elsick 10KThe Chapelton of Elsick 10k is a multi terrain race starting and finishing in Chapelton, Stonehaven, AB39 8BA.

The 10k race has proved to be very popular and and is now firmly fixed in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire running event schedule with entries from the UK.

The route takes you through the grounds of Elsick House a beautiful baronial house with a history going back to 1367. Elsick House - Chapelton of Elsick 10k

The majority of the route is on tarmac with some farm tracks and a short grass section. See the route section for further information

Chapelton is a new community five miles south of Aberdeen by Newtonhill and is easily accessible from both the north and south.

The Chapelton of Elsick 10k is organised by Chapelton Running Group, runners and rsidents of Chapelton with all profits from the event going to local community groups and charities.
